Is ZP Bharti 2026 open in Maharashtra?
No. No statewide sanction for a 2025 or 2026 zilla parishad round appears in the rural development department’s resolutions or circulars, and the parishads’ recruitment pages carry only the 2023 round’s lists and contractual health posts. The department has made no official statement on a next round; vacancy figures circulating are compilations, not notifications.
What was the ZP Bharti 2023?
The rural development department’s sanction of 15 November 2022 let every zilla parishad fill 80 per cent of its Group C direct-recruitment vacancies through its district selection board. The 34 parishads advertised in August 2023 — about 19,000 posts in cadres from gram sevak and health worker to junior engineer and junior assistant — with applications through IBPS from 5 to 25 August 2023 and an online test of 200 marks in October 2023, and in June and July 2024 for the health and gram sevak cadres. Additional lists from its merit lists were still being published in 2026.
What is the ZP exam pattern?
One computer-based paper of 100 questions and 200 marks in 120 minutes, normalised across sessions. For technical posts, Marathi, English, general knowledge and reasoning with arithmetic at 15 questions each and the technical subject at 40; for non-technical posts, the four general sections at 25 each. Forty-five per cent of the total is required to enter the merit list. No interview, no re-evaluation, and no negative marking clause in the advertisement.
What is the qualification for gram sevak in Maharashtra?
In the 2023 round, for contract gram sevak: HSC with 60 per cent, or a three-year engineering diploma, or BSW, or SSC with a two-year agriculture diploma, or an agriculture degree, plus a computer certificate such as MS-CIT at application, at an honorarium of ₹16,000 a month. The post has since been merged with gram vikas adhikari as Gram Panchayat Adhikari at pay level S-8 by the resolution of 24 September 2024, and the next round will advertise it under that name.
What is the fee and age limit for ZP recruitment?
In 2023, ₹1,000 for open candidates and ₹900 for backward classes and orphans, per post, with ex-servicemen exempt. Age on the closing date was 18 to 38, or 43 for backward classes, plus a two-year relaxation for advertisements before the end of 2023 — 40 and 45 — with the usual relaxations for PwD, project-affected, sportspersons, orphans and ex-servicemen, and 55 for part-time employees.
Is there an interview for ZP posts?
No. The advertisements state that no oral examination is held, under the general administration department’s resolution of 4 May 2022. Selection is on the written paper alone, with document verification for candidates on the provisional list and the select list valid for a year.
Can GNM or BSc nursing candidates apply for ZP health worker (female)?
No. The post requires the ANM qualification with nursing council registration, and the High Court’s Nagpur bench on 27 March 2026 dismissed the petitions of GNM and BSc nursing candidates excluded at document verification in the 2023 round, holding that recruitment rules must be strictly construed.
Where are the ZP results published?
On each zilla parishad’s own website and the district collectorate’s notice pages — marks lists out of 200, provisional and final selection lists, waiting lists and, from 2025, additional selection lists under the department’s letter of 13 June 2025. Raigad, Kolhapur, Nashik and Beed published lists through 2025 and 2026.
