Privacy Policy

We collect the information you give us and a limited amount that is generated automatically when you use the site. We do not collect more than the service needs to work.

Information you give us

Your name and email address when you create an account; a mobile number where you choose to provide one; the exam and subject preferences you set; and anything you write to us through the contact form or by email.

Information generated by your use of the site

The tests you attempt and the answers you give, so that we can score them and show you your analysis; which pages and study material you open; and your progress against topics you have practised.

Technical information

Your IP address, browser type and device type, and the pages requested — the information a web server necessarily records in order to serve a page and to keep the service secure.

Payment information

Where you purchase a course or test series, the transaction is processed by a third-party payment provider. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the details needed to give you access to what you bought. We do not receive or store your full card details.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the platform, and only to the extent they need it to perform that function. These typically include a hosting provider, a payment processor, an email delivery service and an analytics provider. Each is bound to use the information only for the service it provides to us.

We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, by a court order or by a competent authority, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Brolly Exam Prep, our users or others.

To exercise any of these, write to support@brollyexamprep.com from the email address associated with your account. We will respond within a reasonable period and, where the law prescribes a timeframe, within that.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active, and your test attempts and performance history for as long as they remain useful to you, since removing them would remove the analysis they support. When you ask us to delete your account we remove the personal information associated with it, except where we are required to retain records — transaction records for tax and accounting purposes, for example.

We protect information with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections, access controls and restricting access to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but we take the obligation seriously and will inform you if a breach affects your information in a way that requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand in aggregate how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may prevent parts of the service from working.

Children

The service is intended for candidates preparing for competitive examinations. Where a user is a child under the applicable law, we handle their information in accordance with the additional requirements that apply, including obtaining verifiable parental consent where required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes or as the law requires. Where a change is significant we will bring it to your attention rather than relying on you to notice it.
