Prelims — general knowledge and current affairs, 200
India and Bihar: history, geography, polity, economy, science, the police and current events, at graduate level.
Mains Paper 1 — general Hindi, 200
Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, idioms and usage; qualifying at 30 per cent.
Mains Paper 2 — 200
General studies; general science; civics — the Constitution and government; Indian history; Indian geography; mathematics; mental ability and reasoning.
