Karnataka FDA and SDA — How the paper is structured

The rules.

Kannada test150 marks, 50 to pass; exempt for SSLC Kannada, Kannada medium or a previous pass; not counted.
Paper 1General knowledge, 100 questions, 100 marks, two hours.
Paper 2Kannada, English and computer knowledge, 100 questions, 100 marks, two hours.
Negative marking0.25 per wrong answer; a multiply-shaded question is wrong.
Qualifying and selection35 per cent of the total; percentage of marks in reservation order; no typing test, no interview.
