Karnataka FDA and SDA — What the syllabus covers

Paper 1 — general knowledge, 100 marks
Current affairs; general science; the Constitution; the history, geography and economy of Karnataka and India; social science; mental ability; and practical knowledge of daily life — at degree standard for FDA and PUC standard for SDA.
Paper 2 — general Kannada, about 35
Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and usage.
Paper 2 — general English, about 35
Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and usage.
Paper 2 — computer knowledge, about 30
Computer basics, operating systems, office applications, the internet and e-governance.
Kannada language test
SSLC first-language standard — reading, writing, grammar — 150 marks, 50 to pass.
