KPSC Group C — How to prepare

From notification to select list

  1. Watch the notifications page and the online table Group C rounds come in separate degree-level and below-degree notifications for each cadre; the last were March 2024.
  2. Settle the Kannada position SSLC Kannada, Kannada medium or a previous pass exempts; otherwise the 150-mark test is the first hurdle.
  3. Prepare the general papers whatever the post A junior engineer and a librarian sit the same two papers. There is no technical paper to fall back on.
  4. Register once on KPSC online The one-time registration carries across rounds; certificates must be obtained before the closing date.
  5. Follow the lists by cadre The Kalyana Karnataka lists of the 2024 round appeared in 2026; the residual-cadre lists follow.

KPSC and the state’s other recruiting bodies revise paper structure, marks, syllabus detail and eligibility between recruitment cycles, and have done so more than once in recent years.
