Syllabus

Maharashtra Departmental Examinations — What the syllabus covers

Post-entry examinations: The codes, manuals, Acts and rules of the department, paper by paper, as its examination rules name them — the Land Revenue Code and manual for the revenue service, the police manual and criminal law for the police, the tax Acts for the tax officers, the financial rules for accounts.
Promotion examinations — mandatory additions: The Right to Information Act 2005; the Maharashtra Public Records Act 2005; chapter 3 of the Maharashtra Government Servants Regulation of Transfers and Prevention of Delay Act 2005; disaster management.
MPSC LDCE: Each examination’s scheme on the commission’s scheme page — the assistant section officer scheme of June 2025, the excise sub-inspector scheme of June 2025, the women and child development scheme of November 2025, and the sub-inspector scheme with its physical test.
