MPSC Group B — What the syllabus covers

Preliminary — general ability, 100: Current affairs, history and geography of Maharashtra and India, polity, economy, general science, and mental ability and arithmetic, at degree standard.
Mains Paper 1 — Marathi, 100: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and usage at twelfth standard.
Mains Paper 1 — English, 100: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and usage at degree standard.
Mains Paper 2 — general studies and intelligence, 200: Intelligence and comprehension; current affairs; arithmetic and statistics; the Right to Information Act 2005 and the Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act 2015; polity, Constitution and local government; modern India with Maharashtra, 1885 to 1947; geography of India and Maharashtra with environment; science and technology including GIS and ICT; economy and planning.
