MPSC Rajyaseva — How to prepare

From the mains notification to allotment

  1. Confirm the fee and the preferences The 2026 mains fee was payable to 13 September; preferences were locked at application and decide the cadre offered.
  2. Write in the medium you opted Papers 3 to 7 wholly in Marathi or wholly in English as claimed at the preliminary; the admission card prints it, and answers in another medium score nothing.
  3. Plan the nine days Languages on 3 and 4 October, essay on 5, general studies on 10, 11, 17 and 18, optionals on 31 October and 1 November — all 11.00 to 2.00.
  4. Prepare the interview from the mains result The 2025 cycle interviewed 438 candidates within two weeks of the result; originals are checked at the door.
  5. Watch the lists General merit list, provisional selection list by preference, objections, final merit and recommendation lists — all on the commission’s site.

MPSC and the state’s other recruiting bodies revise schemes, ratios and dates between cycles, and the advertisement for your cycle is the document that binds.
