Maharashtra Technical Posts — How to prepare

From advertisement to recommendation

  1. Search the commission’s list by service Civil, electrical and mechanical are notified separately, and the civil preliminary is the gazetted combined one; the mains notification comes within weeks of the preliminary result.
  2. Register on IBPS for the boards The Pradhikaran’s window was a month; the paper followed in ten weeks.
  3. Prepare the discipline at the right level Degree level for the commission’s services, diploma level for junior engineer posts — half the board paper.
  4. Do not neglect the general sections Half the board paper and the whole of the commission’s preliminary.
  5. Watch the results pages The commission by advertisement number; the boards on their own sites, cadre by cadre and sometimes months apart.

Confirm the structure against your own notification

MPSC and the state’s other recruiting bodies revise schemes, ratios and dates between cycles, and the advertisement for your cycle is the document that binds. The figures here are from the latest documents on the official sites at the date checked and are labelled where they come from an older cycle.
