A plan in four phases

1. Phase one — the discipline at the right level The core of the subject from the curriculum of the qualifying degree or diploma, unit by unit against the notification annexure, with the published papers as the level check.
2. Phase two — Tamil and the common paper SSLC Tamil as a subject; general studies with the Tamil Nadu layer; aptitude drilled.
3. Phase three — papers under the clock Weekly subject papers on a screen; fortnightly Paper I with the gate scored first.
4. Phase four — ready for the stream Certificates in order; the notification index watched; the stream that carries your post identified.

What the 2025 and 2026 streams taught

• The engineering posts are in the non-interview stream — notified in May in both years, with the examination in August and September. The interview stream in May and August or December; the diploma stream in June or July.
• Vacancies grow by addendum — the 2026 non-interview stream added the power distribution corporation’s posts three weeks after notification.
• Examinations spread across weeks — the 2026 non-interview stream examined its subjects across three windows from 16 August to 19 September.
• Verification runs for a year — the 2025 diploma stream reached its eleventh phase fifteen months after notification.
