Uttar Pradesh Teaching Posts — How the paper is structured

The rules.
Cadre	Rule
UPTET	150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes, no penalty; 60 or 55 per cent; normalised; lifetime certificate.
Assistant teacher, 2026 scheme	120 questions at three marks, two hours, one mark off per wrong answer; 30 general and 90 subject for upper primary.
TGT	125 questions at four marks, 500, two hours, no penalty; written only.
PGT	125 questions at 3.4 marks, 425; interview 50; weightage 25.
