  • The clock starts as soon as you press Start and the paper submits itself at zero.
  • You can move between questions freely and change any answer before you submit.
  • Mark a question for review to come back to it — a marked question still counts as answered if you have chosen an option.
  • A wrong answer costs 0.25 marks, so leave a question blank when you have no idea.
  • Your score, the answer key and a full explanation for every question appear as soon as you submit.

How to learn from this IBPS PO mock

Treat the IBPS PO Prelims Mock Test as a measurement, not as a verdict. The useful output is a short correction plan built from the questions that cost marks or time.

  1. Reproduce real conditions. Use one uninterrupted 18-minute sitting, no notes and the same answer discipline you would use in the examination.
  2. Review correct guesses as well as wrong answers. A lucky mark is unresolved knowledge and should enter the correction list.
  3. Classify the cause of every loss. Mark it as an unknown concept, wrong method, misread question, calculation slip, poor selection or time pressure.
  4. Choose only three immediate corrections. Revise or drill the highest-frequency causes before attempting another full paper.
  5. Retest with a fresh paper. Allow enough practice time for the correction to work, then check whether the same error class has declined.

How to interpret this score

This is a shortened IBPS PO practice paper, so compare accuracy, section balance and decision-making rather than treating the raw mark as a predicted official score. Cut-offs depend on the recruitment cycle, category, vacancies, paper difficulty and the authority’s scoring rules.

What this IBPS PO set is measuring

IBPS PO recruits across participating banks through a common process, and the prelims is a sectionally timed screening paper. The value of this shortened set is in the section-by-section reading rather than in the total.

What the result should tell you

  • Your weakest section, treated as the priority — where each section is separately timed and separately assessed, the weakest one caps you regardless of how strong the others are.
  • How many reasoning sets you completed — rather than how many questions you answered. Puzzle sets are all-or-nothing in practice: a half-solved arrangement usually yields nothing.
  • Arithmetic accuracy under time — the quantitative section is decided by calculation fluency more than by method knowledge, and the fix is daily drill rather than more topics.
  • Whether you left anything unread — unread questions in a section you had time for is a pacing problem, and it is the cheapest one on this list to fix.

One preparation, several banking recruitments

IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO and SBI Clerk draw on the same three subject areas at different depths, so a candidate preparing for one is largely prepared for the others. What differs is the pattern, the timing and the stage structure — check each in its own notification rather than assuming they match.
