  • The clock starts as soon as you press Start and the paper submits itself at zero.
  • You can move between questions freely and change any answer before you submit.
  • Mark a question for review to come back to it — a marked question still counts as answered if you have chosen an option.
  • A wrong answer costs 0.25 marks, so leave a question blank when you have no idea.
  • Your score, the answer key and a full explanation for every question appear as soon as you submit.

How to learn from this SBI PO mock

Treat the SBI PO Prelims Mock Test as a measurement, not as a verdict. The useful output is a short correction plan built from the questions that cost marks or time.

  1. Reproduce real conditions. Use one uninterrupted 18-minute sitting, no notes and the same answer discipline you would use in the examination.
  2. Review correct guesses as well as wrong answers. A lucky mark is unresolved knowledge and should enter the correction list.
  3. Classify the cause of every loss. Mark it as an unknown concept, wrong method, misread question, calculation slip, poor selection or time pressure.
  4. Choose only three immediate corrections. Revise or drill the highest-frequency causes before attempting another full paper.
  5. Retest with a fresh paper. Allow enough practice time for the correction to work, then check whether the same error class has declined.

How to interpret this score

This is a shortened SBI PO practice paper, so compare accuracy, section balance and decision-making rather than treating the raw mark as a predicted official score. Cut-offs depend on the recruitment cycle, category, vacancies, paper difficulty and the authority’s scoring rules.

What this SBI PO set is measuring

The prelims is sectionally timed, which changes the whole strategy: minutes cannot be moved from a section you find easy to one you do not. This set uses the same subject mix so the sectional discipline is the thing being practised.

What to look for in the result

  • Whether every section cleared on its own — sectional timing means each section is a self-contained paper. A strong overall score built on one weak section is a failure mode, not a result.
  • Reasoning attempts against reasoning accuracy — puzzles and seating arrangement carry the largest block of reasoning marks and the largest risk of a set consuming several minutes for nothing. Set an abandonment limit and check whether you kept to it.
  • Data interpretation speed — most quantitative marks in a banking paper sit in DI sets, and most DI time is lost to arithmetic that approximation would have settled.
  • English accuracy — English is where sectional standards eliminate otherwise strong candidates, because it is the section most often left until last.

The prelims is a filter

Marks from the preliminary stage do not carry into the final merit in the SBI PO selection — mains and the interview stage do. Prepare for mains from the beginning rather than after the prelims result, and confirm the current stage structure and marking in the notification for your cycle.
