UIIC AO — How to prepare

The dates are set: registration to 28 September, Tier I tentatively 22 October, Tier II 30 November 2026. A candidate with a bank PO base can be ready for Tier I in five weeks; the mains needs the awareness section built properly, the computer section learned, and typed writing practised weekly.

Priorities, in order

  • Tier II objective marks — three quarters of the final merit.
  • General awareness at 60 marks — the highest-value section per question.
  • Accuracy under the penalty — in both tiers.
  • Computer knowledge — twenty marks for a week’s reading.
  • The interview — a quarter of the merit.

Check eligibility before preparing

the degree must carry 60 per cent (55 for SC, ST and PwBD) and its result must have been declared by 30 June 2026; the notice excludes results declared later.
