KPSC KAS — Using mock tests as a measurement

A routine to the prelims and beyond

  1. Paper I and Paper II on one day Two hours each, in the medium you will use, from the 2024 re-examination papers and the 2017-18 papers. A blank costs nothing; a guess costs half a mark. The cut is one to fifteen in your category.
  2. Read both language versions The 2024 papers were re-held over translation; when a question reads oddly in one language, the other version is on the same page.
  3. Mains — three hours by hand An essay paper and a general studies paper a week, wholly in one language, from the 2017-18 papers. The qualifying Kannada and English papers deserve a timed sitting each; 52.5 is the gate.
