Maharashtra Teaching Posts — What the syllabus covers

TET — child psychology and pedagogy, 30
Development, learning, inclusive education, assessment, at the level of the diploma or degree course.
TET — languages, 30 each
Comprehension, grammar and pedagogy of language in the pairs Marathi and English, English and Marathi, or Urdu and Marathi or English.
TET Paper I — mathematics and environmental studies, 30 each
The content of classes 1 to 5 at secondary difficulty, with pedagogy.
TET Paper II — mathematics and science or social studies, 60
Classes 6 to 8 content with pedagogy; the choice follows the subject to be taught.
TAIT — aptitude, 120
Mathematical ability, speed and accuracy, English and Marathi language ability, spatial ability, and art, interest, adjustment and personality.
TAIT — intelligence, 80
Comprehension, classification, correlation, series, reasoning and inference, coding, symbolic language, rhythmic arrangement.
