A plan across cycles

1. Now — the general TET If you hold no pass, the next general cycle is the first task; the planner projected October 2026. Pedagogy from the national framework, content from the state textbooks.
2. Then — the Tamil gate and the post’s syllabus Tenth-standard Tamil weekly; the SGT five-subject paper, the BT subject, or the PG subject with methodology, as your qualification allows.
3. The notification — documents and papers The TET certificate, the training qualification, the community certificate; a full paper a week from the day the notification appears.

What recent cycles taught

• Examination dates move — the 2025 TET was shifted a fortnight by press note; the 2024 SGT examination was held a month after the notified date; the 2025 PG examination was shifted for a clash with TNPSC Group II.
• Pass marks can change after the paper — the 2025 TET thresholds were revised twice by government order and results reissued.
• Vacancies grow by addendum — the 2024 SGT recruitment added a thousand posts five months after notification.
• Reserve lists arrive a year or more later — the 2023 BT Assistant reserve list was published in June 2026.
