Tamil Nadu Teaching Posts — Reading previous papers properly

The board releases a tentative key with an objection window after each examination and a final key with the results, and hosts marks and qualified status through the candidate login. It does not maintain a downloadable archive of question papers. For the recruitments, Part B is set on the state curriculum at the level of the post, and the state board textbooks are the source.

What to practise from

  • The CTET papers for pedagogy and child development — published by the national board and set to the same framework as the TNTET’s common thirty questions.
  • The state textbooks for content — classes I to V for TET Paper I and SGT; classes VI to VIII for TET Paper II; the tenth-standard books for the SGT main paper and for every recruitment’s Tamil gate.
  • The published final keys with a reconstructed paper — a reconstruction checked against the official key is a fair practice set.
