UPPSC PCS — How to prepare

From now to the select list

  1. To 6 December — the preliminary General studies with the state weighted; the aptitude paper to 33 per cent. Check the calendar: the commission labels its dates tentative.
  2. Apply again for the mains A separate application with the mains fee and self-attested documents after the preliminary result; the 2025 result came seven weeks after the paper.
  3. Prepare general studies V and VI as a course Four hundred of 1,500 marks on Uttar Pradesh’s polity, economy, society, history, culture and geography.
  4. Write in one script Hindi, English or Urdu for the general papers; the language papers in their own script.
  5. Keep the domicile and category papers ready Reservation and relaxation depend on permanent residence in the state; certificates are verified at the interview.

UPPSC, UPSSSC, the police recruitment board and the state’s other recruiting bodies revise schemes, ratios and dates between cycles, and the advertisement for your cycle is the document that binds.
