Indian history and the national movement — 10
Indus valley to the Mughals and the British; the 1857 rising, the Congress, Gandhi, the movements to 1947.
Geography, economy, Constitution and administration — 15
Indian and world physical geography; planning, agriculture, industry and the budget; the Constitution’s features, rights, Parliament, judiciary and local government.
General science, arithmetic, Hindi, English, reasoning — 25
Physics, chemistry and biology to class X; number work, percentages, ratio and averages; Hindi grammar and vocabulary; English grammar and comprehension; series, coding, analogies and syllogisms.
Current affairs and general awareness — 20
National and international events; awards, sports, books, neighbours, organisations and Uttar Pradesh.
Passages, graphs and tables — 30
Two unseen Hindi passages, two graphs and two tables, five questions on each.
