CELPIP — Using mock tests as a measurement

A routine

  1. Fix the target level per component Express Entry points, a provincial stream or a regulator will state CLB minimums; write them down as CELPIP levels, which are the same numbers.
  2. Run the free sample test first For the interface — the timer, the word counter, the microphone check — before anything is scored.
  3. Sit full mocks in order and in one sitting Listening, reading, writing, speaking, under three hours, with the speaking done aloud into a headset.
  4. Score writing and speaking against the standards Content, vocabulary, readability or listenability, task fulfilment; a paid rated practice test tells you which is holding the level down.
  5. Book when the mock meets the level in every component Results come in days and there is no retake wait, so a second attempt can follow quickly if one component falls short.
