Andhra Pradesh Police — Reading previous papers properly

After each written test the board releases a preliminary key, invites objections, and publishes a final key with any changes. For a few days after results, candidates can download their own scanned OMR sheet. The question paper itself is not published, and there is no downloads or archive section on the board’s site. Year-wise "AP Police previous papers" offered elsewhere are therefore reconstructions from memory rather than official documents, and should be used as practice sets rather than trusted as the paper.

What the board does publish, and how to use it

Selection cut-offs by post code, unit and category — the most useful document the board issues. It tells you the mark that selected in your zone last cycle — a concrete target instead of a percentage.
Final answer keys — a table of question numbers and correct options. Useless alone, but paired with a reconstructed paper it lets you check the reconstruction.
Press notes with attendance and qualifying counts — which show how steeply the field narrows at each stage — from 4.6 lakh to 95,000 at the Constable preliminary, and to 34,000 at the final.

The Telangana SI papers are the closest official material

The two states’ police boards descend from the same pre-2014 board and set their Sub-Inspector papers on closely matching syllabuses: arithmetic and reasoning, general studies, and descriptive English and Telugu. Telangana’s board has published its papers and this site hosts seven of them. They are not this board’s papers, but they are the nearest thing to official practice material that exists for the Andhra Pradesh Sub-Inspector examination.
