A plan in four phases

1. Phase one — the state as a subject The social and cultural history of Andhra Pradesh from the Satavahanas to the reorganisation, built as a timeline with dynasties, movements, figures and dates. Then the state economy since 2014.
2. Phase two — the Constitution and the national economy Section B of Paper I and the first half of Paper II. Standard reading, done thoroughly.
3. Phase three — general studies and mental ability for the screening Indian history, geography, society and current affairs at degree standard, with the mental ability block drilled separately. The screening subset of the mains.
4. Phase four — papers under the penalty, and the keyboard Weekly two-paper mocks scored at one-third off; the 2023 keys as practice papers; twenty minutes a day of office software.

What the 2023 cycle taught

• The mains date moved twice — from July 2024 to January 2025 to February 2025. A routine that survives postponement is the preparation.
• Fifty-nine post codes, two lists, several zones — the executive and non-executive posts, the state-cadre Secretariat posts and the zonal district posts each carry their own pool. The vacancy table decides what a rank is worth.
• Verification, the proficiency test and medical boards took most of a year — from the April 2025 result to the January 2026 selection. The interval is where candidates lose documents and proficiency.
• The selection is subject to court — named writ petitions with certain posts and zones marked as subject to their outcome. A provisional list is not an appointment.
