Andhra Pradesh Teaching Posts — How the paper is structured

The consequence is a planning rule. The TET is worth a fifth of the result and improves with re-sitting; the written test is worth four-fifths and is sat once. A candidate who has secured a strong TET score before the DSC notification has already banked marks the written test cannot give back.

Rules worth reading twice

Half a mark a question in the DSC — 160 questions for 80 marks, 200 for 100. The question count is the pace; the marks are the weight.
No negative marking in the TET, stated — and none mentioned for the DSC — an absence in the documents rather than a stated rule. Check the notification for your cycle.
Scores are normalised across shifts — both tests run over many days in two sessions, and both publish the formula.
The societies English paper gates the main paper — a candidate who does not qualify it has the main paper left unmarked.
