Bihar Teaching Recruitment — How the paper is structured

The rules.

Preliminary 150General studies; two hours; two and a half to ten times the vacancies through.
Mains 150Language 30 qualifying; general studies 120, or general studies 40 and subject 80.
Negative markingOne-third per wrong answer at both stages; option E to leave a question.
Minimums40, 36.5, 34 and 32 per cent.
STET150 marks, no penalty; pass at 50, 45.5, 42.5 or 40 per cent; lifetime certificate.
