TNPSC Group 2 — Reading previous papers properly

The descriptive-papers page holds the Group II General Studies paper for 22 February 2026 and 23 February 2025, the common Tamil eligibility test for 15 March 2026 and 8 February 2025, the combined Group II and IIA mains of February 2023 and the Group II mains of February 2019. The answer-keys page holds the common prelims with final keys for 2025, 2024, 2022, 2018, 2015 and 2013.

How to work the archive

  • Write the 2026 and 2025 Paper II to time — the three-part format, the word limits and the 180-minute pace are the paper. Compare the two to see what recurs.
  • Sit the prelims with the blank rule — option E for every unknown, half a mark off per blank.
  • Work the language section as its own paper — a hundred SSLC-standard questions in Tamil or English, with the published unit weights.
  • Use the Tamil eligibility papers early — they show the level and the tasks, and the gate is the easiest paper to prepare from.
