Past papers

LIC ADO — Reading previous papers properly

LIC does not publish ADO papers, but the 2019 and 2023 papers are well reconstructed from candidate recall. The pattern has not changed between them, and the topics of the insurance section overlap heavily, which makes the older paper as useful as the newer one.

How to work a past paper of LIC ADO

Time the prelims as three 20-minute sections even though the mains is composite.
Do the mains insurance section first in practice as in the exam, and track how many of its 60 questions you could answer from your notes.
Attempt every question and keep a count of guesses that came right.
Add every insurance or marketing question you missed to your notes under its topic.
