A plan in four phases

1. Phase one — the discipline at the right standard The core of the subject from the curriculum of the qualifying degree, unit by unit, with the archived papers as the level check. Two-thirds of the effort.
2. Phase two — the common paper General studies with the Andhra Pradesh layer built in, and the mental ability section drilled. Shared with every APPSC recruitment.
3. Phase three — papers under the penalty Weekly full sets scored at one-third off, until the guessing rule is settled. Forest candidates add the language paper and the walk.
4. Phase four — ready for the calendar Certificates in order, the qualification clause of the last notification re-read against your own degree, and the notifications page watched around the calendar dates.

What the 2024 and 2025 cycles taught

• The vacancy may be tiny — three AEE posts, eleven AE posts, seven town planning posts, three electrical inspector posts. The scheme and the preparation are the same at three posts as at three hundred; the competition is not.
• The qualification clause is exact — a diploma from the state board, AMIE Sections A and B, a first-class degree, three years’ experience. Candidates with related qualifications are rejected at verification.
• Results take months and come in tranches — the 2025 AEE examined in January 2026 and notified selection in May; the geophysics post published four supplementary results between April and July. The forest posts examined in February 2026 had no final result in the commission’s feed by September.
• The centre may be one city — the AEE notification examined at Vijayawada only.
