TNPSC Group 2A — Using mock tests as a measurement

A routine built around the scheme

  1. A prelims paper fortnightly until 1 November 200 questions in three hours, option E for every unknown, scored with half a mark off per blank.
  2. A language sectional weekly A hundred questions of SSLC Tamil or English in ninety minutes.
  3. A mains paper fortnightly, on a screen 200 questions in three hours — 150 general studies, 50 reasoning — scored separately by section.
  4. A reasoning drill twice a week Twenty minutes. A quarter of the mains, and a mechanical skill that decays without use.
  5. A Tamil eligibility paper monthly Three hours at SSLC standard, to 40.
