TNPSC Group 4 — Using mock tests as a measurement

A routine built around the paper

  1. A full paper weekly 200 questions in three hours from the published papers, option E for every unknown, half a mark off per blank, Part A scored first against 60.
  2. A Tamil sectional midweek A hundred questions in ninety minutes. Half the paper, the gate, and the fastest half to improve.
  3. A general studies sectional fortnightly Seventy-five SSLC-standard questions with the state layer.
  4. An aptitude drill twice a week Twenty minutes of SSLC arithmetic and reasoning.

Score the gate before the total

A mock that reports only a total hides the one thing that ends candidacies. Score Part A first; if it is below 60, the total is zero, whatever Parts B and C came to. Then score the whole with the blank deduction.
